THE DREAMERS
The Dreamers, a multidisciplinary artist collective formed by Valentina L. (LaPupila) and Nicolas Sanchez (AlfAlfA).
The dreamers was born as a mental health shelter during the pandemic in early 2020. Aplayground to decompress creativity without any expectations. It quickly became a doorway to creative processes, artistic languages and the exploration of topics that we weren't able to cover on our own individual practices.
Our collective artist project is based on combining two very distinctive and unique graphic, black on white/color techniques, to obtain a complex render result, that looks like done by a single artist. Our collaborations gravitate ideas about metal health, inner mythology, self-conflict, immigration, borders, housing, habitat, anti- colonialist ideas practices and other subjects.
